  • The maximum limit of the loan is Rs. 3,00,000-00. Which will be recovered in a maximum of 60 monthly installments including the fixed amount and interest
  • The rate of interest on the loan will be as per the decision of the Management Committee from time to time. The prevailing rate of interest is 14%.
  • In the loan, two members of the society will have to give sureties of friends. Any member can be a surety of a maximum of 3 (three) members.
  • While taking the loan, it will be mandatory to give three accounts of the live account of the Scheduled Bank, pay cheques and for special/big loans, a promissory note of Rs. 600 with a stamp and a receipt on stamp paper of Rs. 50.
  • The Loan Committee meeting will generally be held from the 1st to the 10th of every month. The approved loan will have to be withdrawn by the member within the stipulated time limit, i.e. within a period of fifteen days after approval. If the money is not withdrawn within the stipulated time limit, the loan application will be automatically considered cancelled. After that, a new loan application will have to be made.
