On February 8, 2000, our organization came into existence under the name of Ahmedabad Municipal. Servant Co-op Credit and Supply Society Ltd. Ahmedabad. (Reg. No. 31603/2000).

Founder member Shri Rameshbhai Dahyabhai Solanki (Member No. 1), who made great efforts to establish the organization and realized the dream of establishing a new credit society for the employees to prevent the exploitation of employees in loans in Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation, was unanimously elected unopposed as the first secretary of the organization. He had fulfilled the responsibility of the position of president and secretary of the society during these fifteen years from 2000 to 2015 with sincerity, diligence and loyalty. But on His unexpected demise on 22-7-2015 left our organization with an irreparable loss.

In the year 2000, the foundation of this society was laid by the late Rameshbhai Dahyabhai Solanki and his friends in the Malaria Department of Jail High School: 1- Modi Chandrakant Lalbhai 2 – Joshi Rajan Kanubhai 3- Parmar Amarsinh Gadabhai 4- Mansuri Gulabnabi Mohammedbhai 5 – Ishe Govindrao Laxmanbhai 6- Modi Jignesh Rameshchandra 7 – Chaudhary Sureshbhai Bhulabhai 8- Parmar Gautambhai Wadibhai 9 – Meharia Muljibhai Ukabhai 10 – Solanki Kaushikbhai Karshanbhai. This society was run without any resources in the clerk’s office. After that, 3 years later in 2003, a cupboard, a table, six The institution was started without a chair, any permanent salaried employee and with a capital of Rs. 1155/-. In the first year 2000-2001, there were 29 members and a maximum loan of Rs. 20,000/- was given. In the first year 2000-2001, there was a natural loss in the financial year. Of course, it was only Rs. 1989/- (and the report was also two months old.) But after that, due to the gradual increase in the number of members and the increase in deposits and loans, it has been making continuous profits year after year. Which can be clearly seen from the statistics of Sundhi today. Today, our organization, which maintains the Sundhi Audit Class-“B”, has achieved a prominent position among the employees of the “Salaried Employees Credit Society” of Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation.

In the year 2004, a “computer” was purchased with the aim of providing error-free and fast service to the members and depositors and the recovery sheets of the department were sent through the computer, which successfully paved the way for fully computerizing the accounts. The aim is to completely digitize the credit society in the coming years by 2030.

After a journey of twenty-five years from 2000 to 2025, 25 YEARS (SILVER JUBILEE YEAR) is the first step of our organization. We still have to travel 50 YEARS (GOLDEN JUBILEE YEAR) and 75 YEARS (DIAMOND JUBILEE YEAR) in the “Silver Jubilee Year” to reach the destination of 100 YEARS (PLATINUM JUBILEE YEAR), and we have the confidence and faith that we will definitely reach the destination. Of course, the directors, employees and members will keep changing but the sun of the organization will always shine as it is shining at noon today….it will keep shining…..

History does not end here because the history of the organization is just beginning…..
